Marienlyst Park

According to regulations, the typical lamella buildings from the 1930s that are characteristic for this area were to be carried forward into the new buildings.
The intention when designing the five new blocks was to carry forward the qualities in the existing lamella buildings using a new interpretation adapted to our time. The identity was still to be inherent in clean facades, simple use of materials and use of coherent horizontal parapets on the balconies. We have emphasized achieving a functional connection between communal and private outdoor areas. The design of the apartments considers the need for individual freedom which is important today. There are 255 apartments and a wide selection of layouts to choose from. Light, air, circulation, line of sight with light running through and favourable sun conditions for all apartments has been of major importance.
