Emphasising the unique location of Grilstad Marina and the distinctive qualities of the site were made a priority in this project. With its location on the tip of a pier, with water on three out of four sides, the plot presents unique sun, wind and view conditions. The qualities of the site have been directly translated into the qualities of the homes, both inside and out and privately as well as communally.

The project links the different outdoor spaces together as a whole, whilst creating private, screened outdoor spaces in direct connection with each individual dwelling. Every home is ensured access to the pier, terraces and gardens, as well as to common areas and shared amenities.
